Paolo di Canio is back in contention for Charlton’s clash with Birmingham after shaking off an illness.

The Italian striker missed Charlton’s first win at Liverpool for 50 years on Easter Monday but rejoins the squad and is competing to start up front.

Graham Stuart played 90 minutes for the reserves despite a recent back injury and could also return, while Mark Fish (chest) is now in full training.

Chris Perry’s toe injury has healed but fellow defenders Richard Rufus and Gary Rowett (both knee) are still sidelined.

Kevin Lisbie is back in light training following a back injury but will not be risked again this season.
