Ferguson backs Keane return

Roy Keane will return to the Republic of Ireland fold with the full backing of Alex Ferguson.

The Manchester United boss put the block on Keane coming out of international retirement last year after the Cork-born midfielder indicated to new Republic coach Brian Kerr he was willing to play again.
