Rooney returns for Toffees
Wayne Rooney will return from suspension for Everton’s trip to Leeds on Tuesday, as the Merseysiders bid to build on their excellent Good Friday victory over Spurs.
Veteran defender David Weir has also completed a ban, while reserve defender Peter Clarke still has one match to go of his suspension. Striker Duncan Ferguson still has three matches of his four-game ban to serve.
Defender Alan Stubbs is still fighting to recover from a groin problem while the only long term injury is Li Tie, still back home in Chine nursing a broken leg.
Striker Kevin Campbell, who missed the Spurs game with a stomach illness, is still not fully recovered.
Everton have declined to comment on the situation involving Francis Jeffers, who is reported to have had a row with boss David Moyes after being left out of the Spurs game.
Provisional squad: Martyn, Pistone, Yobo, Unsworth, Weir, Naysmith, Watson, Linderoth, Gravesen, Carsley, Kilbane, Radzinski, McFadden, Rooney, Wright, Nyarko, Hibbert.
