Redknapp set to play on

Tottenham skipper Jamie Redknapp is set to lead his team in tomorrow’s clash at Everton despite having 20 stitches in a facial wound last weekend.

Redknapp suffered a badly cut lip following an accidental collision with his cousin Frank Lampard during the game against Chelsea at White Hart Lane on Saturday and needed minor plastic surgery but he has trained all week.

Spurs are boosted by the return to the squad of Wales internatonal Simon Davies, but there are doubts over the fitness of Mauricio Taricco (thigh) and Christian Ziege (groin) ahead of the Goodison Park trip.
