Smicer set for reserves outing

Vladimir Smicer is set to hand Liverpool a fitness boost in their chase for a Champions League spot when he returns to action for the reserves tonight.

The Czech midfielder has been sidelined with Achilles trouble since early January, but will make his comeback in the second team against West Brom at The Hawthorns.
