Tarnat hopes for new City deal

Veteran full-back Michael Tarnat has not given up hope of extending his stay with Manchester City.

Blues boss Kevin Keegan has put all contract talks on hold until the club’s Premiership survival is assured and, having arrived from Bayern Munich on a one-year contract, Tarnat is one of those players whose immediate future is uncertain.
