Bryan Hughes put Birmingham back on level terms after Mark Viduka had given Leeds an early lead in a pulsating Barclaycard Premiership clash at St Andrews.

Viduka fired home his ninth goal of the campaign and then was guilty of a glaring miss as the home defence looked all at sea.

But Steve Bruce’s side rallied strongly to equalise through Hughes and then the woodwork denied Martin Grainger from a curling free-kick.
