Ricksen hints at new Rangers deal
Fernando Ricksen is considering a signing a two-year contract extension to stay with Rangers until 2007.
The fiery Dutchman sat out the first of his four-match ban against Dundee over he weekend.
But despite his problems with the Scottish Football Association, the 27-year-old has been offered a new deal.
His agent Henk van Ginkel told the Scottish Mail: “Rangers have made Fernando a good offer to stay at the club until 2007 but I can’t say yet what his decision will be.
“I have been over to Glasgow to speak to him. That’s only natural with clients.
“But we have only had a brief chat about it and we must wait and see.
“It will be decided in a matter of weeks rather than months, however.
“A quick decision is the best scenario for both parties.”
