O'Flynn helps Cork move to the top of table

John O’Flynn made an instant impact on his full return from a six-month injury lay-off by putting City in front after 13 minutes before a 6,000 crowd.

O’Flynn caught the Vikings’ defence napping onto a long ball over the top from Danny Murphy to chest down and shoot past Robbie Horgan.

Neale Fenn then added City’s second, scoring on his debut after 65 minutes from Kevin Doyle’s flick.

Vikings hit back through Gary O’Neill a minute later but George O’Callaghan sealed Cork’s win with a third on 74 minutes to put them top of the table.
