Anelka back for City

Nicolas Anelka returns to the Manchester City squad for Monday’s Barclaycard Premiership match at Leeds after suspension.

The French striker looks likely to partner Robbie Fowler with Jon Macken stepping down to the bench.

England goalkeeper David James is doubtful after suffering a gashed knee in the derby defeat of Manchester United but midfield duo Claudio Reyna and Steve McManaman are expected to shrug off ankle and calf injuries respectively in time for the game.
