Tranmere recall recovered defenders

Tranmere defenders Sean Connelly and Ian Goodison return to the team for the FA Cup quarter-final replay against Millwall tonight.

Connelly and Goodison both missed the home defeat by Chesterfield at the weekend because of injury.

Striker Gary Jones was preferred to Eugene Dadi and partnered Canadian international Iain Hume up front.

The Second Division side were aiming to reach the last four for the first time in their history.

Millwall have been in an FA Cup semi-final before – way back in 1937.

Striker Neil Harris returned to the starting line-up after hitting two goals from the bench in the defeat of Ipswich at the weekend.

Defender Darren Ward continued at the back for the First Division promotion chasers after having pain-killing injections in his knee.
