Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric has offered Harry Redknapp a one-year extension on his contract in what he says is a demonstration of his faith in his manager.

Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric has offered Harry Redknapp a one-year extension on his contract in what he says is a demonstration of his faith in his manager.

The extension would take Redknapp though to 2006 and Pompey hope to be an established Premiership club by then despite finding themselves stuck in the relegation zone following defeat at Everton at the weekend.
