Cudicini set for injury lay-off after breaking hand

Chelsea have suffered a potentially serious injury blow with the news that keeper Carlo Cudicini has broken a bone in his right hand.

Cudicini sustained the injury during training today and will almost certainly be ruled out of this weekend’s game at Bolton.

Chelsea TV reported: “Earlier today in training, Carlo Cudicini sustained a small crack and bruising to his right hand. The good news is that once the bruising has settled down, he will be able to resume training.”
