Spurs play down Kanoute injury

Tottenham have played down an injury scare over Fredi Kanoute after the Mali striker was taken off after 43 minutes of last night’s reserve clash at Nottingham Forest.

It was feared Kanoute might have pulled a hamstring during the goalless draw at the City Ground, but reserve team coach Clive Allen diagnosed the problem as nothing more than cramp.
