Balde wants new Celtic deal
Celtic defender Bobo Balde wants to remain at Parkhead for the rest of his career.
The Guinea international has become a fans' favourite since his move from Toulouse in 2001.
Martin O'Neill is looking to tie many of his squad to new deals and Balde, whose contract ends after next season, wants to join the queue.
He said: "I have 15 or 16 months left on my contract and I will talk to the manager about my situation as soon as possible. I feel happy and that's important. I want to stay.
"But, if I have a new deal, I want it to be for another four years.
"When I came in 2001, I signed for four years and I want to do the same again.
"I'm not the type who likes to sign for one or two years. I like to know what the long-term future is for me and my family.
"Basically, if Celtic want to keep me and the length of contract is there I will be happy to finish my career here.
"I'm 28 and have at least four or five good years left."
