Robbie Fowler has revealed he sought advice from fellow Liverpool legend Ian Rush in a bid to end his Manchester City goalscoring jinx.

The former England front-man managed just four goals in his first 25 appearances for the Blues following his £6m (€8.8m) move from Leeds 12 months ago.
