Villa complete Solano signing

Aston Villa manager David O’Leary has finally been able to strengthen his squad with the signing of Newcastle midfielder Nolberto Solano in a £1.5m (€2.2m) deal.

The Peruvian international has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year contract which will keep him at Villa Park until the summer of 2006.
