Scarborough and Chelsea name teams
Scarborough’s FA Cup third-round heroes will all be given a crack at superstars Chelsea in the Conference club’s tie at the McCain Stadium today.
Seadogs’ boss Russell Slade has named the same 11 that edged past Third Division Southend to book their fairytale tie against Claudio Ranieri’s side.
The only change from last week’s league draw with Woking sees the return of midfielder Scott Kerr from suspension, with Jacques Williams dropping to the bench.
Ranieri named a strong side as he sought to avoid what would rank as one of the biggest cup shocks ever.
Claude Makelele and Adrian Mutu failed to recover from illness but Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Eidur Gudjohnsen promise to test the Boro defence to the full.
Frank Lampard and Joe Cole start in central midfield, with Ranieri clearly hoping his English brigade will see the Blues through their unusual day by the seaside.
