Toshack appointed new Murcia boss

Real Murcia have confirmed John Toshack as coach following Monday evening’s sacking of Joaquin Peiro.

Murcia president Jesus Samper had indicated that the much-travelled Welshman - who has Real Madrid, Swansea and Wales on his CV – would be the man to try and save the club from an immediate relegation back to the second division.
