Leeds squad depleted

Leeds head to Southampton tomorrow with their squad decimated by injuries, suspensions and international call-ups.

Out are David Batty (ankle), Michael Duberry and Lucas Radebe (both hamstring), while skipper Dominic Matteo and Stephen McPhail serve one-match bans. Lamine Sakho and Salomon Olembe are also away on African Nations Cup duty.

Caretaker boss Eddie Gray is also without Mark Viduka, who remains in Australia and at the bedside of his critically-ill father Joe, who is in the Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Melbourne Hospital suffering from a serious heart condition.

It means Gray will play centre-back Zoumana Camara and midfielder Jody Morris for the first time in almost two months, while there is at least the consolation of Alan Smith back from a two-match suspension.
