Gardner out for Bolton

Bolton defender Ricardo Gardner has been ruled out against Blackburn at Ewood Park with a knee injury.

The absence of the Jamaica international could see Simon Charlton switching to full-back and Emerson Thome returning to the starting line-up.

On-loan striker Javi Moreno may get a place on the bench as Mario Jardel remains doubtful with a hamstring injury.
