Leicester skipper Matt Elliott will be back available for Sunday’s home Barclaycard Premiership encounter with Chelsea.

Leicester skipper Matt Elliott will be back available for Sunday’s home Barclaycard Premiership encounter with Chelsea.

Centre-back Elliott has been ruled out of the Foxes’ previous three games through suspension after his sending off against Birmingham for violent conduct.

Frank Sinclair could also be in contention for a place in the 16 after resuming training following his lengthy lay-off after an Achilles injury.

But central defender Riccardo Scimeca is unlikely to have recovered from the shin injury which kept him out of the goalless draw at Southampton in mid-week.

Provisional squad: Walker, Impey, Howey, Dabizas, Thatcher, Izzet, Davidson, Scowcroft, Stewart, Bent, Ferdinand, Elliott, Sinclair, Dickov, Coyne, Heath, Hignett, McKinlay.
