Stephane Dalmat struck twice and Simon Davies and Robbie Keane grabbed a goal apiece as Spurs climbed convincingly out of the bottom three of the Premiership.

Frenchman Dalmat, on loan from Inter Milan opened the scoring after seven minutes with a low left-foot drive from the right edge of the penalty area and pounced from close range after 23 minutes to sweep home his second.

Welsh international Davies marked his first start since early September following a hip injury by guiding home John Jackson’s cross six minutes before the break.

Robbie Savage tucked home a 67th minute penalty after Dalmat tripped David Dunn, but Robbie Keane scored a deserved goal after 78 minutes.
