Anderton in contention

Darren Anderton is hoping to recover from a calf injury in time to play for Tottenham against Birmingham at White Hart Lane tomorrow night.

The midfielder has missed the last three matches, but has trained well and is back in contention.

However, defender Dean Richards has failed to recover from a similar problem.

Fredi Kanoute and Stephane Dalmat are both fit to play after treatment on groin and back problems respectively, while Bobby Zamora has recovered from a knock to his knee.
