Drogheda United received a boost this morning as highly rated midfielder Mark Quinless, scorer of four goals in last season's campaign, put pen to paper to accept a new contract with the club.

Drogheda United received a boost this morning as highly rated midfielder Mark Quinless, scorer of four goals in last season's campaign, put pen to paper to accept a new contract with the club.

It is something of a fillip for the club, who finished one point above the promotion/relegation play-offs in 2003 and recently lost their 02 sponsorship, as top scoring striker Andy Myler, defender Aidan Lynch and Barry Kelly also re-signed before Christmas.
