Pahars could figure for Saints
Southampton striker Marian Pahars is winning his battle to be fit for tomorrow’s FA Cup third round clash at home to Newcastle after missing the last two matches with a thigh strain.
Captain Jason Dodd and defender Claus Lundekvam both return after sitting out Monday’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal because of flu.
Graeme Le Saux remains sidelined with a foot injury so Danny Higginbotham will continue to deputise at left back.
