Robson hopeful of Dyer return

Newcastle boss Bobby Robson will make a last-minute decision on midfielder Kieron Dyer ahead of tomorrow’s tough FA Cup third-round trip to Southampton.

The England international missed his side’s holiday games at Leicester and at home to Blackburn with a stomach problem. The club took one point from those two games, with Dyer’s creative influence clearly missed.
