Forest turn down Spurs offer for Reid

Nottingham Forest manager Paul Hart has revealed the First Division club have rejected a bid for star midfielder Andy Reid from Tottenham.

Spurs had confirmed their interest in Republic of Ireland international Reid on Tuesday, but their offer for the 21-year-old – which is reported to have amounted to something between £2.5m (€3.5m) and £4m (€5.7m) – has been dismissed by Forest.
