Anderton set for Spurs return

Tottenham boss David Pleat hopes to include Darren Anderton for the Barclaycard Premiership clash with Charlton at White Hart Lane.

The former England midfielder picked up a calf injury against Manchester United and was forced to sit out the 2-0 defeat by Portsmouth, but should be given the all clear for the Addicks match.

Stephen Carr is serving a one-match suspension while Christian Ziege, Simon Davies, Bobby Zamora and Jamie Redknapp are still in the treatment room, giving 21-year-old midfielder Johnnie Jackson the chance to win his second start for Spurs.
