Pahars doubtful for Saints

Southampton's Latvian striker Marian Pahars is doubtful for the visit of Arsenal after missing the 2-0 defeat at Fulham with a thigh strain.

Danny Higginbotham is set to deputise again for Graeme Le Saux at left-back.

Midfielder Rory Delap could return to the squad after twisting ankle in training.
