Shamrock Rovers goalkeeper Barry Ryan has had his ban for a positive drugs test reduced.

Shamrock Rovers goalkeeper Barry Ryan has had his ban for a positive drugs test reduced.

25-year-old Ryan was handed a 15-month ban after traces of banned substance showed up in his samples following a random test conducted in September.

Ryan, formely of UCD, appealed the decision and the ban was reduced to nine months.
