Accrington Stanley progress in FA Cup
Conference side Accrington Stanley set up an FA Cup third-round meeting with Colchester after eliminating Bournemouth in a penalty shoot-out at the Interlink Express Stadium.
Bournemouth joined Huddersfield as one of the Football League outfits knocked out of the competition by Accrington despite dominating for long stretches.
The Cherries could not convert any of the chances which came their way as their Lancashire hosts held the scoreline at 0-0 through extra-time.
Paul Howarth was acclaimed the Accrington hero after scoring the crucial spot-kick to seal a 5-3 win after Karl Broadhurst had blasted his penalty over.
