Rangers manager Alex McLeish is still in the dark over whether striker Shota Arveladze will be fit to play against Panathinaikos.

Rangers manager Alex McLeish is still in the dark over whether striker Shota Arveladze will be fit to play against Panathinaikos.

The Georgian hitman has missed the Ibrox side‘s last two games with a knee injury and will be put through his paces at training tonight before any decision is made about his availability for the Champions League clash.

With a place in the UEFA Cup up for grabs if Rangers take at least a point from the Greek side, McLeish will be desperate to have Arveladze at his disposal after netting 12 goals so far this season.

Provisional squad: Klos, Ricksen, Berg, Khizanishvili, Ball, Burke, Vanoli, Emerson, Malcolm, Hughes, Lovenkrands, Capucho, Mols, Duffy, McGregor, Ross.
