Ehiogu hoping for Christmas comeback
Middlesbrough defender Ugo Ehiogu could return to action before Christmas after fighting back from his injury nightmare.
The 31-year-old has been out since the summer after undergoing surgery to repair a cruciate ligament injury.
Ehiogu is now back in full training and just weeks away from staking his claim while Stuart Parnaby has also resumed training.
"It's a delight to see Ugo and Stuart back on the training field and it's given a lift to this football club," said Boro boss Steve McClaren.
"Ugo is probably two or three weeks away at the present moment. He needs match practice. We've got no reserve games just now, so we're trying to arrange a couple of games for him.
"But certainly we're looking in the next two or three weeks for him to be pushing."
