Lee Hughes charged over death crash

West Bromwich Albion striker Lee Hughes was charged tonight with causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop after an accident following a car crash in which a 56-year-old man died.

The player will appear before Coventry Magistrates Court tomorrow where he will face the two allegations.

Hughes, 27, was arrested yesterday following a collision in Meriden, West Midlands, in which Douglas Graham, a passenger in another car, was killed.
