Dutch 'there for the taking' - McFadden

Scotland forward James McFadden believes Holland will be “there for the taking” when they arrive at Hampden Park on Saturday.

The Dutch are regarded as huge favourites to come through the Euro 2004 play-off double-header as the team that goes to Portugal next summer.

But the Everton player does not see it that way.

He told The Scottish Sun: “They have not had the best of times in the last few years so I think they are there for the taking.

“If we are going to beat them then it has got to be now and I don’t see why we should fear them.

“If we fear them then we will not win. It is a simple as that – we will not take anything from the games.”
