Waterford maintained their Indian sign over Cork to win this thrilling Munster derby at the RSC.

Blues blitzed City to run up a 2-0 lead within five minutes.

Kevin Waters won possession to send Wayne Fitzgerald away to shot low to the net from 20-yards inside two minutes. City were two down three minutes later when Daryl Murphy pulled the ball back for the inrushing Kevin O'Brien to fire home from close range.

Neale Fenn sealed this comfortable win on 71 minutes when turning to shoot under Michael Devine from the edge of the area.
