Fulham have sacked chief executive Bruce Langham and expect to appoint his successor “within the next few weeks”.

Fulham have sacked chief executive Bruce Langham and expect to appoint his successor “within the next few weeks”.

The London club claimed Langham’s departure was part of a “management restructuring”.

A statement published on the club’s website, www.fulhamfc.com read: “Fulham Football Club today announced that Mr Bruce Langham has had his contract as chief executive officer of the club terminated on notice.

“Mr Langham’s departure is part of a management restructuring which will see the appointment of a new CEO within the next few weeks.

“In the interim Fulham’s deputy managing director, Lee Hoos, and finance director, Andy Ambler, will take charge of the day-to-day running of the club.”
