Rovers blew the title race wide open with goals from James Keddy and Garry Haylock as leaders Shels slumped to their first home defeat of the season.

Rovers rocked Shels to take a deserved lead on ten minutes with a wonder goal from James Keddy.

Trevor Molloy flicked on Jason Colwell's ball forward to put Keddy in on goal and his rising left footer scorched into the top right-hand corner of Steve Williams' net.

Shels just couldn't find a way back and Haylock tapped in Rovers' second goal two minutes into stoppage time after Keddy's shot had come back off a post.
