The eircom League has fined Kildare County for playing a suspended player in a fixture earlier this month.

The eircom League has fined Kildare County for playing a suspended player in a fixture earlier this month.

Kildare were fined €250 for playing Ray Kenny in the eircom League First Division fixture against Finn Harps on Friday October 3 while the player was under suspension.

The decision was taken at the eircom League Board of Control meeting.
