McGhee leaves Lions' den

Millwall have sacked manager Mark McGhee following last night’s 1-0 defeat to Preston at the New Den.

Assistant boss Achie Knox has also had his contract terminated by mutual consent despite the Lions sitting eighth in Division One and just six points behind leaders Sheffield United after 14 league games.
