Livi coach Maximo resigns

Livingston head coach Marcio Maximo has resigned from the club just four months after his appointment.

The 40-year-old became the first Brazilian coach in Britain when he took over from Jim Leishman in the summer.

Leishman took a role ‘upstairs’ at the club while Maximo, who worked with Brazil superstar Ronaldo in the national Under-17 side, took over.

But Maximo, who has won just two SPL games since the start of the campaign, has reportedly failed to settle in Scotland.
