Ciaran Martyn earned Derry a draw at Tolka Park with a fine equaliser on the half hour mark.

Midfielder Martyn struck to blast the ball home from Stuart Holt's cross. Rovers, had taken the lead on 13 minutes when Tony Grant headed home after Derry defender Peter Hutton could only help on a cross from Trevor Molloy.
