Stuttgart keeper claims Ronaldo dived

Stuttgart goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand has accused Ronaldo of diving to win Manchester United's penalty during the Champions League match on Wednesday.

Ruud van Nistelrooy scored the spot-kick for United but Stuttgart won the game 2-1 to blow Group E wide open.

Hildebrand told the Daily Mail: "I had been told that Ronaldo had a reputation in England for diving and I have to say that after this game I can see why that is.

"He definitely dived for his penalty. I was behind him and the next minute he was on the floor.

"I made slight contact with the player, but it was a reflex action. The referee was fooled."
