Inter leave it late to pip Kiev

Christian Vieri popped up with a 90th minute winner to give Inter Milan their second straight Champions League Group B win and deny Dynamo Kiev what would have been a deserved point.

Daniele Adani put the Italians ahead in the 23rd minute when he tapped in after Fabio Cannavaro‘s header was brilliantly saved by Kiev keeper Olexandr Shovkovskiy.

Sergei Fedorov knocked in a leveller 15 minutes later after Inter failed to clear a corner, but Vieri powered home a stoppage time header to maintain the Italian side’s 100% start to the competition.
