Fergie turned down approach from Chelski

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson rejected an approach by Chelsea during the summer, it was revealed today.

It is understood Ferguson was approached shortly after Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich’s takeover at Chelsea, but the United boss insists it would take something “catastrophic” to make him leave Old Trafford.
