Myler helps Drogheda to impressive win

Andy Myler hit a brace to lift the gloom at 02 Park following four defeats and the sacking off boss Harry McCue as Drogheda earned their biggest win of the season.

With captain Aidan Lynch and fellow defender Pat Scully in temporary charge, Drogheda dominated from the start but didn't take the lead until the 69th minute when Myler finished off a Mark Quinless cross.

The second goal arrived in the 90th minute when Shaun Gallagher broke down the right to cross for Declan O'Brien to head home.

The third came two minutes later with Gallagher again providing the pass for Myler to shoot home his ninth goal of the season.
