Shearer sends Newcastle into lead

Newcastle captain Alan Shearer has scored his third goal of the new Premiership season to give his side the lead over Manchester United at St James's Park.

The former England skipper got on the end of a free-kick from Lauren Robert taken just outside the area and headed home past new United recruit Tim Howard.
