FA charges Campbell with violent conduct

Arsenal defender Sol Campbell’s disciplinary woes continued today when he was charged by the Football Association with violent conduct.

The charge comes on the recommendation of the FA’s Video Advisory Panel following Campbell’s retaliation against Manchester United’s Eric Djemba-Djemba during the Community Shield.
