Kaka deal not complete yet - Sao Paulo
Sao Paulo insist star midfielder Kaka will not travel to Europe on Friday to sign for AC Milan but instead play for them in the Campeonato Brasileiro.
Kaka and his agent Wagner Ribeiro are understood to have reserved seats for a flight on Friday night, which would see them arrive in Milan on Saturday morning.
However, Sao Paolo president Marcelo Portugal Gouvea said: “He will travel, but to Riberao Preto (where Sao Paulo play Criciuma) and not to Italy.
“We had good progress in our meeting with Leonardo (former player and current Milan representative) but there are things to resolve and I don’t think we will be able to work them out before the weekend.”
Kaka made his professional debut two years ago and was in the Brazil squad which captured the World Cup in the Far East.
He is expected to move to the European Champions in a transfer worth more than £6m (€8.5m).
